How To Set Up A Free Website With WordPress
You do not have to spend a lot of money to have someone build a website for you.
You can use the WordPress blog system to set up a free website. In fact, you don't even have to go so far as to set up a website with a WordPress blog system. You can use it just as it is and sell directly from it.
There are many people who sell on the Web without a website. But there are very few who sell successfully that do not have a blog. A blog is absolutely essential for promotion and to get your pages and other information into the search engines.
This video assumes that you have already set up a WordPress blog. If you have not yet set up a WordPress blog, it is recommended that you look at the video that you see linked below that tells you how to set up a WordPress blog.
To modify the WordPress blog to your own liking you may have to use one of the free website editors that you get with your web host or, if you do not get one through your web host, you can use the free one that you find linked below.
Many people will require an FTP program to transfer work from their computer to their website host. Again below I have linked to a free FTP program that you can find by going to the How To FTP tutorial.
For those of you who use the Blue Host, a hosting service that we have recommended, you will find that it is easier to use the web disk program that comes free. You do not have to go through any FTP work. All you do is drag and drop. It is extremely easy. And once again this is another reason that we recommend that you use Blue Host.
