Perhaps the most important business development tool that you have is the capture page or squeeze page that you have and you wish to develop your customer and e-mail list.
Without a mailing list you have no business. People will come to your website once, bounce off it, and you will likely never see them again.
In order to keep your website, your product, your service in front of people who showed enough interest to come to your website at least once, you have to set up some mechanism to gather their e-mail address so that you may follow up with special offers and other information that will bring them back to your website and turn them into your customers.
